ROYAL CRONQUIST HOW TO BECOME GOD’S WISDOM PART 2

This message is entitled, “How to become God's wisdom.” It's the second tape or the second message that we have on this. Today, I want to again carry on the subject matter of the wisdom of God and how to become it.

Is there a difference between God's knowledge and God's wisdom? We have to understand there is very much. Yes. If we act upon the knowledge of God that comes to us intuitively, without waiting for the wisdom of God that comes to us intuitively, we ultimately end up with wildfire. Because if we have the intuitive knowledge of God, and then we apply natural wisdom to it, it's all to it, there's no way that it can succeed.

God's knowledge must be mixed with God's wisdom. Now, what is God's knowledge? Ginosko, God's knowledge, His word of knowledge is a minute portion of persons, places and things, of the who, what and where of the past, present and future. But the wisdom of God is how, when and why, to be able to divinely make, work, the knowledge of God, concerning persons, places and things and the who, what and where of the past, present and future. You have to think this through enough times whereby it becomes automatic for you.

We read in, in Proverbs 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all your getting get understanding.

In the book of James 1:5-6 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that gives to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. 6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavers is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

Now listen to me. I am convinced that one of the greatest fallacies of Christian responsibility today is they have a great deal of knowledge, but they don't have any wisdom of God on how to make the knowledge work with faith.

We know that faith is a creative power working ability of the human spirit that is in union with God. But even all that knowledge that we have, it is a revelation to our spirits. If we apply human understanding or human wisdom to it, it just will not work with a supernatural effect, it will still fail. Because God's knowledge must work with wisdom. And wisdom must be applied to knowledge. And it all has to be divine, it all has to have its origins in God.

In First Corinthians, we find that Jesus Christ is made to us wisdom. Therefore, if you're going to become the wisdom of God, you're going to have to establish a very personal relationship with Jesus Christ in the spirit. Your own mind will be of no value here except to be a slave, to communicate the wisdom and the knowledge of God that God quickens within your own spirit.

There's probably many have never heard anything about the Urim and Thummim, where the knowledge and wisdom of God is similar to the Urim and Thummim in the Old Testament. We don't know too much about Urim and Thummim, but the word Urim means lights, and the word Thummim means perfections. This was a stone. We're not sure what kind of a stone it was that the high priest wore on the ephod on his breast.

And when they consulted this stone, they would ask it questions and this stone would give answers from God, whether they were authorized to do something or not authorized to do something.

We find the counterfeit in the occult today in the crystal ball. So you'll see the things of God are so parallel close to the occult that only discerning of spirits can discern or decipher or separate the difference.

That's why it's absolutely important that you grow in Revelation in yielding or being involved with or in union with the revelation gifts of the Holy Spirit which is the word of wisdom, the word of knowledge and the discerning of spirits, because discerning of spirits must be applied to all knowledge and it must be all applied to all wisdom too because Satan counterfeits not only the knowledge of God but the wisdom of God. There is satanic wisdom that causes a great deal of success for the occult.

Now in order to live and move in the realm of spirit, it is necessary for you to be able to see and to hear in that realm. This means that you have the responsibility to develop your eyes to see, the eyes that are in your spirit, and the ears to hear, the ears that are in your spirit. Because Jesus walked this way. He said, "The Son could do nothing of Himself except He sees what the Father is doing." And that's in John 5:19.

We also find it in John 12:49. He says, "But I do not speak from Myself from My soul," - which means I do not speak from the origins of My mind. But the Father Himself who has sent Me has given Me commandments, what to say and what to speak. And I know that His commandment is eternal life. Therefore the things that I speak, I speak, just as the Father has told Me to speak."

In other words, Jesus heard what the Father was saying in the spirit. It had no origins at all with His human mind. How can a word of wisdom be given without eyes to see or ears to hear what God is trying to say? These things do not come mechanically or psychically. But there are spiritual faculties and spiritual senses that can be developed. You have the responsibility to develop the senses.

And Hebrews 5:14, we find the scriptures very paramount in this. But strong meat belongs to those who are mature, who by reason of use, or practice, have their senses exercised or trained, so that they may discern between good and evil, between what is spiritually righteous, and what is spiritually evil.

And that also includes the gift of the Holy Spirit, discerning of spirits. If you're going to become the wisdom of God, you have to flow in being a recipient of the word of wisdom, which is a minute portion of God's wisdom of the vast storehouse of the wisdom of His omniscience. The basic function of the Holy Spirit is to reveal Christ to our hearts, and to guide us into all truth.

When we open our hearts to the Holy Spirit, we can receive by a few simple steps, the leading and guidance necessary for a victorious walk in the Spirit. The greatest problem that most Christians face, “What is the will of God for my life?” The massive majority of believers do not know the will of God for their life. Why is this? Because they've never been taught by the ministry, their own personal responsibility, that they have to initiate in action, God's word, so that God can really reveal Himself to them within their spirits.

In many instances, that believers face peculiar little decisions, times of crisis in the world in which they ask themselves, “What is God's will for me right now? In this decision, what can I do?” Can I suggest something? I believe that the people of God could be led automatically 90% greater than they are if they learn how to begin to talk to their own heart, or where they could begin to discern their own heart

If you could ask this question of whatever you're going to do, or whatever change of life you're going to have. And you could ask this question, “If I do this, will Jesus Christ alone receive glory?”

Your conscience will give you such a quick answer, not an answer so much in words, but in checks or excitement, that you know that it would glorify or not glorify Jesus Christ.

The next question you could ask, “If I do this, would I personally receive an advantage?” Now we're getting into something a little bit more possible of the selfish nature. But by most things, if you could ask the question of “Would Jesus Christ be glorified if I do this, if I believe this and I act upon this, or I go here, I go there?” your conscience will answer you so fast, that you be surprised.

Christians as a rule, do not develop the ability to listen to the voice of their conscience. Conscience is another faculty of your human spirit. The word of wisdom, and the word of knowledge, which cause you to become the knowledge of God and the wisdom of God comes through your intuitive faculty.

But your conscience is the judge by which everything is authorized or not authorized. It also becomes a judge to see how much you're going to make an unselfish decision, or how much your selfish nature will become part with it.

And if you learn to listen to the voice of conscience, you could begin to flow perfectly in the word of knowledge, with the word of wisdom, making the knowledge of God works to a divine effect.

There are two things to be done if we're to walk with God. First, we must be able to acquire what God is. What is God? God is Spirit. And you cannot acquire God who is Spirit in your psyche or your mind. You have to acquire or appropriate God with your spirit. And you have a faculty in your human spirit called communion or communicator. You have to learn to get your spirit active in reaching God.

How do you do that? It's simply a matter of focus. You bring your mind into captivity and you begin to focus upon God, with expectation, with anticipation, with adoration, with worship, with thanksgiving, with gratitude, and you begin to worship Him through with penetrating, sharp focus upon Him that will not permit distraction.

This means you have to learn to bring your mind into captivity. Doing this makes you and gives you the ability to make your mind subordinate to your spirit that wants to lock upon God. The Scripture says in Isaiah 26:3 that Thou shalt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is fixed upon Thee. You cannot fix your mind upon God without your spirit being fixed upon Him.

But if your mind is rabbit tracking, if your mind is involved with every other concentration and distraction, and involvement and thinking about what's going on through your physical senses, then your mind will never be the recipient of God in your spirit or your spirit will never be locked upon God. So God cannot flow through your spiritual senses to your mind.

Now second, we must be able to act upon what God said in our spirit and apply it effectively. I want you to remember this. Jesus Christ is made to us wisdom. You can have all the knowledge of God, but the wisdom of God again is the ability to make the knowledge work with a divine effect that will bring glory to God.

And remember, Jesus set the pattern in the earth. He said, “I did not come to be ministered to, but to minister.” (Matthew 20:28). Therefore, if you're ever going to become the wisdom of God, you're going to have to be one who is able to be involved with the burden of God, to not glean the knowledge of God and the wisdom of God for your self-interest. You have to be interested in the burden of God and the burden of God is to minister to the needs, the needs of humanity outside of your personal interest. This means that you have to even begin to become one who will minister to the needs of others beyond the needs of your own family. The needs of your own family can still be selfish and self-centered.

When you begin to minister with the intents of God, the needs of suffering humanity, of depleted humanity, a broken humanity, of sinful humanity, of sick humanity, of naked humanity, of hungry humanity have to be ministered to. One of the things about growing up, the Scriptures teach in James 4:2-3 You have not, because you ask not. 3 You ask, and receive not, because you ask amiss, that you may consume it on your lusts.

Now this is why many times that you pray for your family, your personal interest, you don't get the answer. Because if God answers you some way, you're going to twist that, and apply it for the gratification of your own self-nature. And God is not interested in propagating your self-nature. He's interested in you losing your self-nature.

Jesus said in Matthew 10:39 He that finds his life shall lose it: and he that loses his life for My sake shall find it.

And this word, lose his life, lose his psuche, his soul, his mind, his emotion, his will, that he gave up the control of it, he gave up the self-interest, the selfish desires, and selfish gratifications of it. And it becomes filled with the will of God by which it becomes filled with the love of God, by which it becomes filled with the knowledge and the wisdom of God, to meet needs outside of your personal interest.

We must be able to learn how to tune in, to dial into God in His omnipresence with our spirit. We must not only learn how to draw His knowledge, but we must know how to draw His wisdom which is greater than ours. We have to learn how to tune in to the power that is greater than ours. And then learn how to execute that power to the needs of others apart from our own self-gratification and self-interest.

This wisdom that I talked about is not human wisdom. It's not satanic wisdom. It's divine wisdom. This knowledge, this knowledge that I'm talking about is not natural knowledge. This is really a divine miracle working in your intelligence.

First, it works in your spirit, then it is conveyed to your own mind while you must give up your thinking and your desires and your interpretation, and your feelings and your emotions and you're wanting it. And you must yield over to God's love, and God's desires and God's motivations and God's actions and God's knowledge, applying God's wisdom to have a supernatural effect in creating the reality of life out of chaos.

These things are not done because you have human ability and skill and ingenuity. But God enables us to learn how to tune in to Him and become in union with Him and become the executive of divine knowledge which is intelligence and divine wisdom which is that intelligence that makes that knowledge work. Hallelujah.

When ministering to someone else, be conscious that you are also touching the Lord. Or you are also in union with the Lord. If you haven't taken the time to activate to initiate the activity of your spirit in union with God's Holy Spirit, you're going to do everything in your own knowledge and your own ability, your own skill and ingenuity, you're going to have failures. You need to have a habitual persistence and consistency of taking time to commingle the focus of your spirit and the focus of your mind upon God in His presence, so that God Himself may begin to become active and alive and commingled and diffuse and permeate in you with the power of the Holy Spirit.

We know that in Ephesians 1:22-23 And has put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be the head over all things to the church, 23 Which is His body, the fullness of Him that fills all in all.

He wants to be the head in you. He doesn't want your head or He doesn't want Him and you to coexist together. He wants to be the head in you. He wants to be bossing you. He wants to be Lord in you. He wants to be the knowledge in you. He wants to be wisdom in you. He wants to be understanding in you. He's not interested in giving Himself with you. He's interested in you losing yourself and He becoming Himself incorporated and formed within you.

This is what it means being predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son.

Romans 8:29 For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brothers.

When you began to reach out with your spirit, through a directed, concentrated focus and you begin first to touch the Lord through worship and you begin to become filled with the Holy Spirit, then and then only can you begin to reach out with your spirit and began to touch other human spirits with revelation knowledge of their need, and with revelation wisdom on how to apply that knowledge, so that the glory of God is manifested within their lives, whether it's in their heart, or their mind or their body. There has to be a two way contact.

In one way, you have to learn how to commingle and abide within Jesus Christ in the omnipresence of the Holy Spirit. At the same time, you have to learn how to actually execute your spirit, towards the person who has the need, so that you can minister with your spirit under the anointing of the Holy Spirit more than in the dominance of your psyche or your mind. You are contacting the Lord in His fullness, but you are also contacting the one that you're ministering to with your spirit with that fullness.

Often, others’ infirmities can be felt in your body as if it were your own. You began to sense their need, with your spirit that is in union with God. If you begin to sense their need, with your psychic ability without a union with God, you won't have any physical results.

The Scripture says in Isaiah 40:25-28 To whom then will you liken Me, or shall I be equal? said the Holy One. 26 Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who has created these things, that brings out their host by number: He calls them all by names by the greatness of His might, for that He is strong in power; not one fails. 27 Why say you, O Jacob, and speak, O Israel, my way is hid from the LORD, and my judgment is passed over from my God? 28 Have you not known? have you not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, faints not, neither is weary? there is no searching of His understanding.

The emphasis here is upon God's ability upon God's power and His endurance. He doesn't faint, He doesn't grow weary. God not only can do the job, but He will always be able to do the job. And there is no searching of His unlimited understanding. There is no limitation upon His wisdom and knowledge.

Then it comes down to man and the process by which we in our limitation may acquire His unlimited attributes and power is by the ability of our spirit, commingling abiding in union with Jesus Christ in the omnipresence of the Holy Spirit, so that He can become the wisdom of Himself with all the knowledge of Himself by the power of the Holy Spirit to perform supernatural ability, and supernatural intelligence.

This is the key to all ministry. Unless you as a Christian will take time to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ in the omnipresence of the Holy Spirit. And this is simply a matter of bringing your thoughts into captivity, not only into captivity but to inactivity, through a penetrating, fixed focus, that is locked upon Him through the activity of worship. And even then your worship become silent, and you fulfill the Scripture in Psalm 46:10, be still and know that I am God. And then God can begin to reveal to you His knowledge about anyone and all things and give you wisdom about that knowledge and how to apply it and when to apply it, and why to apply it so it becomes a supernatural effective result by which Jesus Christ is glorified.

I want you to understand the spiritual law though. It's not easy to change things one has believed in biblical doctrine with the dominating strength of his mind. For the mind secretly assumes it's completely correct in many things.

First Corinthians 2:14 says, the natural man cannot receive the things of God. Now this word “natural” is psuchikos in Greek, and it means man, the born again man, whose mind is predominant or over dominant over his spirit. Therefore, his spirit is the prisoner within his mind. And so he's learning doctrine, he's learning revelation by his mind instead of by his spirit. So he is applying human knowledge and human wisdom in doing things and having a human failure.

But if he would let his spirit get free from his mind and let his mind become the slave of his spirit locked in with God, then he would have supernatural divine wisdom and divine knowledge to apply a divine result with divine power. And as long as we allow our mind to dominate over our spirit, we fulfill the scripture in 2 Timothy 3:7, “Ever learning but never coming to the knowledge of truth.” The Scripture says in Romans 12:2, “Be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” You have to understand this.

Jesus Christ has appeared to me in recent months and this is one of the things that He said to me, “The renewing of your mind is not your work, but it's Mine. Therefore, abide in My presence so that I may work.”

Now how do you abide in His presence? This is one of the most neglected activities of Christian responsibility. To abide in His presence is simply a matter, again, bringing your mind into captivity, your thoughts, your thinking faculties into captivity, and not permitting it to think upon anything except upon God. That means you direct your focus and your concentration and your contemplation and your meditation totally upon Him, where you permit no distraction. That's the way you abide in His presence.

And when you abide in His presence, then and then only can He work and then and then only can your mind be renewed from the power of God through your spirit, changing your mind. If you're going to try to renew your mind by applying its strength to learn scripture, learn doctrine, think upon teaching, think upon preaching with its dominance and your spirit is the prisoner, you'll never have the faith of the Son of God to have a renewed mind.

I'll give you another spiritual law. In the spiritual, the natural human heart matters. Now, what is the human heart? The human heart is the affectional seat of the human spirit. It's the intelligent faculty of the human spirit. The mind is the intelligent faculty of the human soul. The heart is the intelligent faculty of the human spirit.

But there's a lot of parts of that human heart that have not been totally sanctified yet, because it has not been renewed by God through the faculties of your human spirit. And you cannot become spiritually intelligent, through the dominance of your mind learning scripture, listening to sermons that never get their origins in your spirit.

Let's go through this law again. In spiritual matters, the natural human heart is deceptive to the point of spiritual insanity, not mental insanity. Mental insanity is psychic insanity, spiritual insanity is heart insanity. And Jeremiah 17:9, the scripture says the heart is desperately wicked and deceitful above all things. In the Scripture of Hebrews 4:12, it states, for the Word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword to the piercing to the dividing asunder the human soul, from the human spirit.

That means the word of God divide your human mind and its thinking abilities, and interpreting abilities and understanding abilities from the human spirit and is able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Now, it's just often the intentions of the heart that people have trouble with because it's out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.

Let's go back to this spiritual law now. In the last analysis, the last decisive analysis, it's your heart that determines the direction that your human spirit takes. If the heart secretly dislikes any spiritual truth, for any reason, it will warp both the soul and spirit into believing the truth to be a lie and the lie to be the truth.

Once your heart believes a lie, you move joyfully forward, confidently with assurance to your ruin and death. And we read this in Ecclesiastes 9:3 This is an evil among all things that are done under the sun, that there is one event to all: yes, also the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness is in their heart while they live, and after that they go to the dead. Wow.

And then there's another scripture in Ecclesiastes 8:11 Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.

This is why Christians now never advance materially is because they never pay attention to their heart. They never give their heart the attention that it needs. Their heart will do things like Jacob, for example. Jacob was a supplanter. Jacob is a type of the total Church of the body of Christ on an individual basis and a corporate basis until the Church can come to the perfect state of Jesus Christ. Then that part of the Church that comes to their perfect state of Jesus Christ will be the Israel of God.

But all the time Jacob is alive, what did he do? He always supplants. He always connived. He always tried to manipulate and maneuver around by some devious skill in a way to cheat and to lie and to get an advantage. And we do that with one another because we've got deceitful hearts. We do that in the husband and wife relationship. We do this in brother and sister relationships in the body of Christ because we're deceitful. We don't know our own hearts. And because we don't know our own heart we go on in deception.

This is why we need the prophets to be raised up in our midst, to show that they can discern our heart so they can discern the corruptness of our way by which we walk and our heart will deceive us that we are doing God and it's not God at all. What jeopardy the body of Christ is in. All the divisions that exist in the body of Christ today are because of the hearts of men who had been playing God.

And there's not been the sanctified heart of holiness and righteousness, to do the work according to the glory of God, and for His glory alone. We have wanted some self-interest for our advantage in it. Men and women fall from grace or they don't increase in grace, because of the seat of their heart. You know yourself and the negative retaliatory relationship that you have with one another is because there are parts of your heart that are not sanctified with righteousness and holiness. And so you fight and you retaliate. And you say things and you do things that are devious and deceitful. As Christians, you do this. And that's not going to allow you to be passed before the throne of God as a perfect state of sons of God. Hallelujah.

And this is where most men and women fall. Men and women who have come to high places in God and get caught in some sin. And they do not totally thoroughly repent. I'm talking about adulteries. I'm talking about fornication. I'm talking about theft. I'm talking about misusing people and manipulating saints to their own personal advantage. And they're playing God all the time.

And because they do this, God knows their hearts. And because there are no prophets in our midst or we've not permitted the prophets to be raised up in the midst to discern our sin, to discern our hearts, so we continually stay deceived, rebellious to the righteousness and the holiness of God.

If you're going to be a ministry of God, it's imperative that you submit your ministry to other ministries, especially apostles and prophets, to discern your way. This means you submit your personal life. If you're a married man, you submit your marriage. If you have a family, you submit your family. If you have finances, you submit your finances. You first submit every detail of your life for the scrutiny of others to see that if you are deceitfully misusing it, for some personal selfish advantage.

If you don't, you're going to be caught in deception and you're going to miss the mark and because God does not right away, rip you right now and execute some sentence, you think you go on in your deception and you think you have God's approval. And that's where all true prophets or true pastors, or true evangelists and teachers and apostles and prophets become false is because they are in some sin. Nobody knows about it, but you and God know about it.

And if you continue on, that is added to it another sin. I know of ministries that have been caught in adultery and fornication situations. And they seek God and they ask God to forgive them, but they didn't totally repent. And then they fall into sin again. But even though they sinned again, they go to the pulpit and God still anointed him to preach the word. God's still anointed to manifest the gifts of the Spirit. So they get caught in the deception, that they have God's approval on their life, that all is well.

And yet you fall into another adulterous situation, another stealing situation, another manipulating and maneuvering people for your own advantage in a situation and you go from sin to sin. And yet, you find that God anoints you in the pulpit, He anoints you with the gifts of the Spirit, and you think that God's approval is on you. Instead, God has left in His place, a lying spirit.

That's why if a ministry do not submit their ministry, they do not submit their lives, their homes, their marriage, their doctrine, their revelation, to other discerning ministries, they are going to be caught in deception.

You are either ministering God to a person or you're ministering nothing. When you minister God and self, you're ministering nothing. Human wisdom and human intelligence are not what people need. It's important that we learn how to be cleaned before God and not to assume or presume it. This is why it's important that we have spirit probes of our heart by the discerning ones, by the prophets. And these prophets have to be inter submissive to other prophets because you yourself are always your worst enemy.

Then we find that the scripture says in Isaiah 40:29-31 He gives power to the faint, and to them that have no might He increases strength. 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: 31 But they that wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary, and they shall walk, and not faint.

Nobody does it. Because we do not have a habitual waiting upon the Lord pattern in our lives. We get caught in applying the knowledge of God by human wisdom and having a failure. There's no way that you can fail if you live in the Spirit, and you have the knowledge of God in the spirit, and the wisdom of God to apply that knowledge with divine effect.

Here in verse 29, and 31, of Isaiah 40 is a picture of people who are ready to fall, even the young man a youth at the very primary strength is going to fall is going to faint, can't make it.

Our young people are facing that today. Not only are young people but our older people in Christ are facing that. They're fainting, they're weary. When we as people come to the tests that are upon people, today, we fall, but God can give us His understanding for our inexperience. God can give us His power for our lives. God can give us His endurance. And then we can continue on by strength that is acquired or appropriated.

All of this Divine Wisdom is appropriated. It's appropriated wisdom, you cannot store it up. You cannot just supply it anytime you choose to supply it unless you walk in the Spirit. And the most failures that every time that you apply ministry to a need and there's a failure, it's because you are not in the spirit. You are in yourself, no exceptions. That's hard for people to accept.

But when you walk in the Spirit, there's no such thing as a failure. There is no such thing as missing it. Now you can miss it if you apply human wisdom to divine knowledge. You have to not only have divine knowledge but have to wait for the divine wisdom on how to apply that knowledge to make it effective to the glory of God.

Now how do we tune in to this wisdom? How do we find the answer to the will of God for our life? Here are some practical steps for beginning to move in God.

Number one, Lay a good foundation. Before you can move very far, you must confirm your faith. This is reaching toward heaven, or reaching toward God through a focused concentration of worship. Seeing the scripturalness of the divine revelation guidance, begin to quote the promise to yourself, then begin to quote the promises to yourself that shows how God can guide you. For example, Behold, I am Jehovah, the God of all flesh, is there anything too hard for Me? That's Jeremiah 32:27.

Another Proverbs 3:5, trust in the Lord with all our heart and lean not unto thine own understanding.

I want you to understand that "lean not to thine own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths."  How are you going to get that done? That's simply a matter of bringing your thoughts into captivity, and your thinking faculties to inactivity, through a fixed, directed focus that is locked upon Jesus Christ, through the activity of beginning of worship, even where you become silent, where your mind becomes absolutely silent in its activity, but not passive, aggressive. And then you begin to fulfill the Scripture, be still and know that I am God. Hallelujah.

Now that whether it is to be guidance, or healing or blessing, keep holding those promises over and over until they filter down from your mind through your subconscious into your spirit. The moment that they touch your spirit, faith will be birthed to perform the thing that you've been quoting. It doesn't take many promises. One good promise from God that catches fire in your heart is adequate. You must hang on to it. And really believe God, for that promise to be fulfilled. You must continually keep asking in faith until faith is imparted to your consciousness so that you can speak it with your lips to cause a supernatural result.

Believe that the Spirit of God will speak to you in your spirit. It will help you to talk to yourself a little bit and rehearse the scriptures aloud. To read scripture and go over and over in your mind a few times is applying it only to your conscious mind. If you really want to know the truth, you must reach down into the deeper areas, so that it goes into your subconscious into your very heart in yourself.

I am convinced that there is another level below the subconscious. David knew what he was saying when he said, “Bless the Lord, oh my soul and all that is within me bless His holy name.”

He was reaching into things that are below the conscious mind and the subconscious mind into realms that we call the heart, the heart of man, which is the intelligent faculty of the human spirit. He kept speaking the things aloud to himself or meditatively to himself, until they reached the inner recesses of his inner being and became a living reality of faith substance.

For a really good foundation, every recess of our being needs to be saturated with confidence in God, that He will quicken His Word to us in our spirit. As we meditate upon them, as we learn to become silent with our thinking, and be still and know that God is God. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord.

Number two, enter into His rest. In this step, don't work things out in your own mind or action, but let God work them out for you. Say to yourself, I am here before God. And I am going to let God have His way with me in this situation. But you have to remember you have to be focused. Your focus has to be able to be fixed and penetrating upon Him by which there's no distraction. And you begin to think that God is very great to me, God is going to speak to me and I'm going to have an encounter with God in every part of this situation.

You begin to relax your body. You begin to enter into rest. You begin to consciously go over every muscle area of your body and you relax before God. You choose to tell it to relax and rest before the Lord. I'm telling you not to be passive with your mind now. You're to be aggressive. Praise the Lord. You affirm I shall not work this thing out with my own strength. I refused to work this out.
